Every instrument we ship is built to be accepted at the buyer’s customs and quality gate. This page explains what documentation we provide, and what we need from you to match your market’s requirements.
CE marking
Our instruments are supplied with a CE declaration of conformity for the applicable EU directives. The declaration is issued per model and per shipment, and travels with the commercial invoice so it can be presented at import.
Quality management
Production follows a documented quality management process: incoming component inspection, in-process checks and a final functional test on every unit before packing. Each instrument is verified against a calibrated roughness, thickness or hardness reference block, and the test record is filed against the serial number.
Test reports and calibration
- Factory test record with the serial number — included with every unit.
- Calibration certificate for the reference block — included with every unit.
- Third-party calibration or verification reports — available on request, quoted separately.
What we need from you
Certification requirements differ by destination and by buyer type (distributor, tender, end user). Before shipping, tell us:
- The destination country and the incoterm;
- Whether the goods will be resold under your own brand (OEM), which changes the label and declaration;
- Any standard your customer or tender requires (for example a specific ISO, DIN or JIS reference, or a declaration format).
We will confirm in the quotation which documents are included and which are optional.
Warranty
Instruments carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The stylus, cables and other consumable parts are excluded. Warranty service is handled by returning the unit or the affected module; we will advise the fastest route for your country.
