The SD-UHT271 uses the ultrasonic contact-impedance (UCI) principle to measure hardness without an optical indentation, covering most ferrous and non-ferrous metals. A 2 kgf probe (5 kgf / 10 kgf optional) reaches flange edges, gear-tooth roots, thin plates and surface layers.
A 3.5-inch IPS colour display, automatic probe recognition with hot-swap, and 600 records with USB output make it suitable for both workshop and laboratory use.
